  "text": "Council Decision\nof 22 February 1988\nconcerning the conclusion of a supplementary protocol to the Agreement establishing an Association between the European Economic Community and Turkey\n(88/89/EEC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community and in particular Article 238 thereof,\nHaving regard to the recommendation from the Commission,\nHaving regard to the opinion of the European Parliament,\nWhereas the Supplementary Protocol to the Agreement establishing an Association between the European Economic Community and Turkey signed in Ankara on 12 September 1963, should be approved,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
