  "text": "Council Decision\nof 26 April 1997\nconcerning the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Korea on cooperation and mutual administrative assistance in customs matters\n(97/291/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof, in conjunction with the first sentence of Article 228 (2) thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Commission,\nWhereas on 5 April 1993 the Council authorized the Commission to negotiate, on behalf of the Community, customs cooperation agreements with some of the Community's main trading partners;\nWhereas the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Korea on cooperation and mutual administrative assistance in customs matters should be approved,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
