  "text": "AGREEMENT\nbetween the European Community and the Russian Federation on trade in textile products\nTHE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY,\nof the one part, and\nTHE RUSSIAN FEDERATION\nof the other part,\nhereinafter referred to as ‘the Parties’,\nDESIRING to promote, with a view to permanent cooperation and in conditions providing for predictability of trade, the mutual expansion and orderly and equitable development of trade in textile products between the European Community (hereinafter ‘the Community’) and the Russian Federation (hereafter ‘Russia’),\nRESOLVED to take the fullest possible account of the serious economic and social problems at present affecting the textile industry in both the Community and Russia,\nHAVING REGARD to the objectives and provisions of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States and the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement’) which entered into force on 1 December 1997,\nBEARING IN MIND Russia's process of accession to the Word Trade Organisation (WTO),\nHAVE AGREED AS FOLLOWS:\nDone at Brussels, 23 July 1998.\nFor the Russian Federation\nFor the European Community",
