# Decision No 253/2000/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 January 2000 establishing the second phase of the Community action programme in the field of education ‘Socrates’, Article 10: Funding

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The financial framework for the implementation of this programme for the period specified in Article 1 is hereby set at EUR 2 060 million.
2. The annual appropriations shall be authorised by the budgetary authority within the limits of the financial perspective.
