  "heading": "COMPATIBILITY OF ROLLING STOCK WITH OTHER SUBSYSTEMS",
  "text": "The implementation of the rolling stock TSI has to comply with the requirement of full compatibility between the rolling stock and the fixed installations, including energy and control-command. This principle applies to the interoperable network covered by the TSIs, whereby it has to be taken into account that the rolling stock may have to be prepared to circulate also on existing national networks.\nFollowing this, the implementation methods and phases concerning rolling stock depend on the following conditions:\nthe progress of implementation of the infrastructure, energy and control-command TSIs,\nthe rolling stock operational schemes (rosters) which may cover existing national networks.\nThe tools to ensure the compatibility requirement as well as to take into account the abovementioned conditions are: infrastructure register (trans-European network high-speed (TEN HS)), respectively set up for a specific line or route, represent a compilation of the following characteristics (basic parameters, interfaces, performances):\ncharacteristics on which TSIs allow alternative values,\ncharacteristics on which TSIs contain specific cases,\ncharacteristics on which the specifications given in the TSIs are provisionally not met, e.g. before full implementation of the TSIs, or due to temporary maintenance works,\ncharacteristics which are based on regional conditions.\n. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .\n. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .\n. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .",
