# 2003/422/EC: Commission Decision of 26 May 2003 approving an African swine fever diagnostic manual (Text with EEA relevance) (notified under document number C(2003) 1696), Division 2

In the case of pigs to be moved to another holding, in addition to the investigations to be carried out in accordance with point 1, a clinical examination of pigs, including taking the temperature of a proportion of pigs, must be carried out in each subunit of the holding in which the pigs to be moved are kept.
The minimum number of pigs to be checked must allow for the detection of fever if it occurs at a prevalence of 10 % with 95 % confidence in these subunits.
