  "text": "Council Decision\nof 31 January 2005\nappointing a German alternate member of the Committee of the Regions\n(2005/120/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 263 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the German Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nCouncil Decision 2002/60/EC of 22 January 2002 appointed the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions.\n(2)\na seat as an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the resignation of Ms Maria Theresia OPLADEN, notified to the Council on 29 November 2004,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
