  "text": "Council Decision\nof 26 April 2005\nappointing three Latvian members to the Committee of the Regions\n(2005/368/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 263 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Latvian Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 22 January 2002, the Council adopted Decision 2002/60/EC appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2002 to 25 January 2006.\n(2)\nThree members’ seats on the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following expiry of the mandates of Mr Andris JAUNSLEINIS, Mr Jānis KALNAČS and Mr Arvīds KUCINS, notified to the Council on 6 April 2005,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
