  "text": "Council Decision\nof 20 September 2005\nappointing three members and five alternate members of the Committee of the Regions\n(2005/675/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 263 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Italian Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 22 January 2002 the Council adopted Decision 2002/60/EC appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2002 to 25 January 2006.\n(2)\nThree members’ seats on the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following expiry of the mandates of Mr Francesco STORACE, Mr Vito d’AMBROSIO and Mr Raffaele FITTO; one alternate member’s seat on the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the resignation of Mr Giuseppe CHIARAVALLOTI and four alternate members’ seats following expiry of the mandates of Mr Giovanni PACE, Mr Filippo BUBBICO, Mr Giandomenico BARCI and Mr Enzo GHIGO,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
