  "text": "Commission Decision\nof 3 February 2006\namending Decision 2005/7/EC authorising a method for grading pig carcases in Cyprus\n(notified under document number C(2006) 215)\n(Only the Greek text is authentic)\n(2006/100/EC)\nTHE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,\nHaving regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3220/84 of 13 November 1984 determining the Community scale for grading pig carcases, and in particular Article 5(2) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nDue to technical adaptations, Cyprus has requested the Commission to authorise the application of a new formula for the calculation of the lean meat content of carcases in the framework of the method for grading pig carcases authorised by Commission Decision 2005/7/EC, and has submitted the details required in Article 3 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2967/85 of 24 October 1985 laying down detailed rules for the application of the Community scale for grading pig carcases.\n(2)\nThe evaluation of this request has revealed that the conditions for authorising the new formula are fulfilled.\n(3)\nDecision 2005/7/EC should therefore be amended accordingly.\n(4)\nThe measures provided for in this Decision are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Pigmeat,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
