# Commission Decision of 6 February 2006 on the implementation of survey programmes for avian influenza in poultry and wild birds to be carried out in the Member States in 2006 (notified under document number C(2006) 251) (2006/101/EC), Division 5

Pooling of up to five samples from the same species collected at the same site and same time may be permitted. It must be ensured when pooling samples that, in case of a positive finding, the individual samples can be retested.
