  "text": "Council Decision\nof 11 July 2006\nappointing a Czech alternate member of the Committee of the Regions\n(2006/509/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 263 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Czech Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 24 January 2006 the Council adopted Decision 2006/116/EC appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2006 to 25 January 2010.\n(2)\nA seat as an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the resignation of Mr Ivan KOSATÍK,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
