  "text": "Council Decision\nof 15 September 2006\nappointing three Danish members and five Danish alternate members to the Committee of the Regions\n(2006/630/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 263 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposals from the Danish Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 24 January 2006 the Council adopted Decision 2006/116/EC appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2006 to 25 January 2010.\n(2)\nThree seats of members of the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following the resignations of Mr Laust Grove VEJLSTRUP, Mr Johnny SØTRUP and Mrs Tove LARSEN. Three seats of alternate members of the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following the resignations of Mr Sonny BERTHOLD, Mr Niels LARSEN and Mr Mads LEBECH. Two seats of alternate members of the Committee of the Regions will become vacant following the appointment as members of Mr Per Bødker ANDERSEN and Mrs Eva NEJSTGAARD, currently alternate members,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
