  "text": "Council Decision 2006/866/CFSP\nof 30 November 2006\nextending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 23(2) thereof,\nHaving regard to Council Joint Action 2002/921/CFSP of 25 November 2002 extending the mandate of the European Union Monitoring Mission, and in particular Article 5(1) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 21 November 2005, the Council adopted Decision 2005/808/CFSP extending the mandate of Ms Maryse DAVIET as Head of Mission of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM). In accordance with this Decision, her mandate expires on 31 December 2006.\n(2)\nOn 30 November 2006, the Council adopted Joint Action 2006/867/CFSP extending and amending the mandate of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) until 31 December 2007.\n(3)\nThe mandate of the Head of Mission of the EUMM should therefore also be extended,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
