Article 1

The following are hereby appointed to the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which runs until 25 January 2010:

1. (a)

   as member:

   • Mr Aleksandrs LIELMEŽS, in place of Mr Uldis AUGULIS,

   and

2. (b)

   as alternate members:

   • Ms Ligita GINTERE, Chairman of Jaunpils Local Municipality, in place of Mr Aleksandrs LIELMEŽS,

   • Mr Jānis NEIMANIS, Chairman of Grobiņa Town Municipality, in place of Mr Gunārs LAICĀNS.
