Article 2

This Decision shall apply from 1 September 2007.

However, the following provisions of the Models set out in Annex IV to Directive 90/539/EEC, as amended by this Decision, shall apply from the following dates:

1. (a)

   point II.2(a) of the veterinary certificate in Model 2 for day-old chicks, shall apply from:

   1. (i)

      1 February 2008 where those chicks are solely intended for the production of eggs other than hatching eggs; or

   2. (ii)

      1 January 2009 where those chicks are solely intended for meat production.

2. (b)

   point II.2(a) of the veterinary certificate in Model 3 for breeding and productive poultry, shall apply from:

   1. (i)

      1 February 2008 where those poultry are solely intended for the production of eggs other than hatching eggs; or

   2. (ii)

      1 January 2009 where those poultry are solely intended for meat production.

3. (c)

   point II.2(a) of the veterinary certificate in Model 4 for poultry, day-old chicks and hatching eggs, shall apply from:

   1. (i)

      1 February 2008 where those poultry or chicks are solely intended for the production of eggs other than hatching eggs; or

   2. (ii)

      1 January 2009 where those poultry or chicks are solely intended for meat production.

4. (d)

   point II.2(a) of the veterinary certificate in Model 5 for slaughter poultry, shall apply from:

   1. (i)

      1 February 2008 where those poultry are solely intended for the production of eggs other than hatching eggs; or

   2. (ii)

      1 January 2009 where those poultry are solely intended for meat production.
