Article 5 Chairperson — Appointment

The Commission shall appoint the Chairperson of the Expert Group, taking into account the extent to which the selected person represents the key stakeholders' interests, contributes to shaping the views of industry in respect of the matters covered by the mandate and possesses the required legal, commercial and technical expertise.

The Commission shall appoint the Chairperson for a renewable term of twelve months.
