# Commission Decision of 6 November 2007 concerning certain protection measures against foot-and-mouth disease in Cyprus (notified under document number C(2007) 5452) (Text with EEA relevance) (2007/718/EC), Article 10: Cleansing and disinfection

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. Cyprus shall ensure that vehicles which have been used for the transport of live animals in the areas listed in Annex I and Annex II are cleansed and disinfected after each operation, and that such cleansing and disinfection is recorded in accordance with Article 12(2)(d) of Directive 64/432/EEC.
2. Cyprus shall ensure that operators of ports of exit in Cyprus ensure that the tyres of road vehicles departing from Cyprus are exposed to disinfectant.
