  "text": "Council Joint Action 2007/732/CFSP\nof 13 November 2007\namending Joint Action 2007/106/CFSP extending the mandate of the Special Representative of the European Union for Afghanistan\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Articles 14, 18(5) and 23(2) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 15 February 2007, the Council adopted Joint Action 2007/106/CFSP extending the mandate of the Special Representative of the European Union for Afghanistan.\n(2)\nOn 30 May 2007, the Council adopted Joint Action 2007/369/CFSP on establishment of the European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan (EUPOL AFGHANISTAN) for a period of three years.\n(3)\nOn 13 November 2007, the Council adopted Joint Action 2007/733/CFSP amending Joint Action 2007/369/CFSP to reflect the new command and control structure for EU civilian crisis management operations as approved by the Council on 18 June 2007.\n(4)\nThe mandate of the Special Representative of the European Union for Afghanistan should be amended to reflect his role in relation to EUPOL AFGHANISTAN in line with the new command and control structure for EU civilian crisis management operations,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS JOINT ACTION:",
