# Decision No 1098/2008/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2008 on the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion (2010) (Text with EEA relevance), Article 7: Committee

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The Commission shall be assisted by a committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee).
2. Where reference is made to this paragraph, Articles 3 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC shall apply, having regard to the provisions of Article 8 thereof.
3. Each Member State’s representative on the Committee shall be designated, where possible, from the National Implementing Body referred to in Article 6(1).
