  "text": "The Programme Decision sets a total budget of EUR 321 500 000 for the period from 1 January 2008-31 December 2013.\nThe budgetary authority has approved a total budget of EUR 46 600 000 for 2008 for the budget lines 17 03 06 and 17 01 04 02.\nBudget line\nEUR\n17 03 06 — Community action in the field of health\n45 200 000\n17 01 04 02 — Expenditure on administrative management\n1 400 000\nTotal\n46 600 000\nThe budget line ‘17 01 04 02 — Expenditure on administrative management of the programme’ will be used for the organisation of workshops and experts meetings, publications, various communication activities and other current expenditure supporting the implementation of the objectives of the programme.\nAdditional contributions from EFTA countries members of the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) and candidate countries participating in the Programme will be made during the year. These are estimated at EUR 1 113 740 from EEA/EFTA countries and EUR 119 723 from candidates countries (Croatia).\nThe total budget for 2008 is therefore estimated at EUR 47 833 463:\nthe total for the operating budget is estimated at EUR 46 395 003;\nthe total for the administrative budget is estimated at EUR 1 438 460.\nThe budget line for administrative appropriations related to the PHEA is 17 01 04 30.\nThe budget line for International agreements and membership of international organisations in the field of public health and tobacco control is 17 03 05.",
