# Council Decision of 18 February 2008 adopting the rules of procedure of the European Development Fund Committee (2008/215/EC), Article 16: Transparency

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The principles and conditions concerning public access to documents which apply to the Commission shall apply to the EDF Committee. If such a request is sent to a Member State, it must act in accordance with Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents.
2. The proceedings of the Committee shall be confidential for all participants.
