  "text": "Council Decision\nof 7 April 2008\nappointing a Romanian alternate member to the Committee of the Regions\n(2008/301/EC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 263 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Romanian Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 24 January 2006, the Council adopted Decision 2006/116/EC appointing members and alternate members to the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2006 to 25 January 2010.\n(2)\nA seat as an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the resignation of Mr FILIP,\nHAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:",
