# Council Decision of 15 September 2008 appointing a Belgian member and a Belgian alternate member of the Committee of the Regions (2008/728/EC), Article 1

The following are hereby appointed to the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which runs until 25 January 2010:
(a) as a member:
Mr Patrick LACHAERT, Vlaams Volksvertegenwoordiger (change of mandate);
and
(b) as an alternate member:
Mr Marc VAN DEN ABEELEN, Vlaams Volksvertegenwoordiger.
