Division 1 The general objective of the national control programmes shall be the verification of compliance with applicable legislation concerning:

  1. (a)

    full monitoring of caging operations taking place in the Community waters;

  2. (b)

    full monitoring of transfer operations;

  3. (c)

    full monitoring of joint fishing operations;

  4. (d)

    quantitative restrictions on catches and any specific conditions associated therewith, including the monitoring of quota uptake;

  5. (e)

    annual fishing plans;

  6. (f)

    all documents required by the legislation applicable to bluefin tuna, in particular verifying the reliability of the information recorded;

  7. (g)

    specific technical measures and conditions for fishing for bluefin tuna as provided in Recommendation 08-05, specifically the application of minimum size rules and associated conditions.
