  "text": "‘Areas of cooperative activities\nArticle 4 (a) Sectors for cooperative activities may include:\nenvironment (including climate research),\nbiomedicine and health (including research on AIDS, infectious diseases and drug abuse),\nagriculture,\nfisheries science,\nengineering research,\nnon-nuclear energy,\nnatural resources,\nmaterials sciences (including nanotechnology) and metrology,\ninformation and communication technologies,\ntelematics,\nbiotechnology,\nmarine sciences and technology,\nsocial sciences research,\ntransportation,\nsecurity research,\nspace research,\nscience and technology policy, management, training and mobility of scientists.\n(b) The Parties may modify this list upon recommendation by the Joint Consultative Group mentioned in Article 6, in accordance with procedures in force for each Party.\n(c) The Parties may jointly pursue cooperative activities with third parties.’.",
