  "heading": "Denunciation",
  "text": "1. Any Contracting Party may denounce this Convention by so notifying the Secretary-General of the United Nations.\n2. Denunciation shall take effect fifteen months after the date of receipt by the Secretary-General of the notification of denunciation.\n3. The validity of TIR Carnets accepted by the Customs office of departure before the date when the denunciation takes effect shall not be affected thereby and the guarantee of the guaranteeing association shall hold good in accordance with the provisions of this Convention.",
