  1. (a)If the waste waters from leather tanning sites and from the textile industries are released directly into fresh waters the content of COD shall not exceed 250 mg COD/l of water discharged.
  2. (b)Tannery waste water after treatment shall contain less than 1 mg Chromium (III)/l.
