# Council Decision of 9 October 2009 appointing one Lithuanian member and one Lithuanian alternate member of the Committee of the Regions (2009/749/EC), Article 1

The following are hereby appointed to the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which runs until 25 January 2010:
(a) as member:
Mr Viktor TROFIMOV, Chairman of Panevėžys Regional Development Council;
(b) as alternate member:
Ms Daiva MATONIENĖ, Council Member of Šiauliai City Municipality.
