Article 1

The procedure under Article 88(2) of the EC Treaty that was launched by letter dated 11 December 2003^f1 in relation to the abovementioned scheme is hereby closed owing to having become redundant, since Italy withdrew the notification on 2 July 2004 and has not pursued the proposed aid.
