Division 5.2 In addition some particular inspections can be done:

desk-based or on-site inspections should be performed to the third parties as specified in Article 24 of Directive 2004/23/EC;

as result of the evaluation of specific circumstances, including limitation of resources or expertise, a Member State may consider the possibility of requesting another Union Competent Authority to carry out joint inspections on its territory in collaboration with the officials of the requesting Member State.
