# Council Decision of 7 October 2010 on the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Union and Japan on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters (2010/616/EU), Article 2

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to proceed, on behalf of the Union, to the exchange of the instruments of approval provided for in Article 31(1) of the Agreement in order to bind the Union.
