The final statement of the fees due for year n shall be drawn up by the European Commission no later than sixty (60) days after the anniversary date of the Protocol in year n + 1 on the basis of the catch declarations made by each shipowner and confirmed by the scientific institutes responsible for verifying catch data in the Member States, such as the IRD (Institut de recherche pour le développement), IEO (Instituto Español de Oceanografía) and IPIMAR (Instituto Português de Investigação Marítima), via the European Union Delegation to Gabon.
