# Council Decision of 9 June 2011 on the signing, on behalf of the European Union, and the provisional application of the Protocol agreed between the European Union and the Republic of Cape Verde setting out the fishing opportunities and the financial contribution provided for in the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the two parties currently in force (2011/405/EU), Division: Designation of competent authority


For the purposes of this Annex and unless otherwise indicated, any reference to the European Union (EU) or to Cape Verde as a competent authority shall mean:
for the EU: the European Commission, where applicable via the EU Delegation in Cape Verde,
for Cape Verde: the Minister for Fisheries.
