Division 2.2.2 Communicating further information

The following procedure shall apply:

1. (a)

   the SIRENE bureaux may transmit further information on Article 95 to Article 100 alerts, and in doing so may act on behalf of judicial authorities if this information falls within the scope of mutual judicial assistance;

2. (b)

   to the extent possible, and in accordance with the applicable rules of data protection, the SIRENE bureaux shall communicate medical details on the individuals on whom an alert has been issued pursuant to Article 97, if measures have to be taken for their protection. The medical information transmitted shall be kept only as long as is strictly necessary and shall be used exclusively for the purposes of medical treatment given to the person concerned.
