Article 14 Amending budgets

In the case of unavoidable, exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, the Chief Executive may propose a draft amending budget, within the limits set out in the Financial Framework.

The draft amending budget shall be drawn up, proposed, and adopted and notification given in accordance with the same procedure as the general budget, within the limits set out in the Financial Framework. The Steering Board shall act with due account to the urgency.

In the situation where the limits set down in the Financial Framework would be considered insufficient due to exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, taking also in full account rules set out in Article 13(2) and (3), the Steering Board will submit the amending budget for adoption by the Council, acting by unanimity.
