  "text": "DRAFT\nDECISION No …/2012 OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE\nof\namending Protocol 31 to the EEA Agreement, on cooperation in specific fields outside the four freedoms\nTHE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,\nHaving regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Articles 86 and 98 thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nProtocol 31 to the EEA Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No …/… of ….\n(2)\nIt is appropriate to extend the cooperation of the Contracting Parties to the EEA Agreement to include Council Directive 2008/114/EC of 8 December 2008 on the identification and designation of European critical infrastructures and the assessment of the need to improve their protection.\n(3)\nProtocol 31 to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended in order to allow for such extended cooperation to take place,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:\nDone at …, …\nFor the EEA Joint Committee\nThe President\nThe Secretaries to the EEA Joint Committee",
