"text": "The table below show an example for a hypothetical Member State located in average climate conditions, which has 3 different heat pump technologies installed.\nThe Member State in this hypothetical example did a survey of installed reversible air to air heat pumps and concluded that the equivalent of 48 % of the installed reversible heat pump capacity were used fully for heating, instead of the 40 % assumed in these guidelines. The HHP value is therefore adjusted up from 710 hours, which assumes 40 % and set out in Table 1, to 852 hours, which is representative for the estimated 48 %.\nAir to air(reversible)\nWater to water\nExhaust Air to water\nCalculation\nDescription\nVariable\nUnit\nCapacity of heat pumps installed\nPrated\nGW\n255\n74\n215\nof which the SPF is above the minimum threshold\nPrated\nGW\n150\n70\n120\nEquivalent full load hours of operation\nHHP\nh\n852\n2 070\n660\nP rated * H HP = Q usable\nEstimated total usable heat delivered by heat pumps\nQusable\nGWh\n127 800\n144 900\n79 200\nthe estimated average seasonal performance factor\nSPF\n2,6\n3,5\n2,6\nE RES = Q usable 1 − 1 ∕ SPF\nAmount of renewable energy supplied per heat pump technology\nERES\nGWh\n78 646\n103 500\n48 738\nTotal amount of renewable energy supplied by heat pumps\nERES\nGWh\n230 885",
