Council Decision 2013/308/CFSP

amending Decision 2012/642/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against Belarus
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on European Union and in particular Article 29 thereof,
Whereas:

On 15 October 2012, the Council adopted Decision 2012/642/CFSPf1 concerning restrictive measures against Belarus.
(2)
The Council considers that to facilitate political dialogue, the travel ban imposed on Mr. Uladzimir Uladzimiravich Makei under Article 3(1) of Decision 2012/642/CFSP should be suspended while he holds the position of Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The suspension should be subject to the review referred to in Article 8(2) of Decision 2012/642/CFSP.

Decision 2012/642/CFSP should therefore be amended accordingly,
