  "text": "1. The Framework Agreement for Trade and Cooperation between the European Community and its Member States, on the one hand, and the Republic of Korea, on the other hand, signed in Luxembourg on 28 October 1996 and which entered into force on 1 April 2001 is hereby repealed.\n2. This Agreement updates and replaces the aforementioned agreement. References to the aforementioned agreement in all other agreements between the Parties shall be construed as referring to this Agreement.\n3. The Parties may complement this Agreement by concluding specific agreements in any area of cooperation falling within its scope. Such specific agreements shall be an integral part of the overall bilateral relations as governed by this Agreement and shall form part of a common institutional framework.\n4. Existing agreements relating to specific areas of cooperation falling within the scope of this Agreement shall similarly be considered part of the overall bilateral relations as governed by this Agreement and as forming part of a common institutional framework.",
