  "text": "Commission Implementing Decision\nof 7 November 2013\non setting up the European Advanced Translational Research Infrastructure in Medicine as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (EATRIS ERIC)\n(2013/640/EU)\nTHE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 723/2009 of 25 June 2009 on the Community legal framework for a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), and in particular point (a) of Article 6(1) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nThe Czech Republic, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Estonia, the Italian Republic, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Finland requested the Commission to set up the European Advanced Translational Research Infrastructure in Medicine as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (EATRIS ERIC). The Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of France will participate initially in EATRIS ERIC as an Observer.\n(2)\nThe Kingdom of the Netherlands has been chosen by the Czech Republic, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Estonia, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of France, the Italian Republic and the Republic of Finland as the Host Member State of EATRIS ERIC.\n(3)\nThe measures provided for in this Decision are in accordance with the opinion of the Committee established by Article 20 of Regulation (EC) No 723/2009,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
