Article 5 Bluetongue in endemic or high risk areas

The programmes for the eradication and monitoring of bluetongue in domestic animals submitted by Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Finland are hereby approved for the period from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2014 .

The financial contribution by the Union:

(a)

shall be at a rate of 50 % of the unit cost defined in points 1(c) and 4(d) of Annex I for:

  1. (i)

    the sampling of domestic animals;

  2. (ii)

    ELISA tests;

  3. (iii)

    PCR tests;

(b)

shall be at a rate of 50 % of the eligible costs to be incurred by each Member State referred to in paragraph 1 for the purchase of vaccines up to a maximum of EUR 0,50 on average per dose;

(c)

shall not exceed the following:

  1. (i)

    EUR 11 000 for Belgium;

  2. (ii)

    EUR 100 000 for Bulgaria;

  3. (iii)

    EUR 72 000 for Germany;

  4. (iv)

    EUR 3 000 for Estonia;

  5. (v)

    EUR 75 000 for Greece;

  6. (vi)

    EUR 850 000 for Spain;

  7. (vii)

    EUR 170 000 for France;

  8. (viii)

    EUR 2 150 000 for Italy;

  9. (ix)

    EUR 6 000 for Latvia;

  10. (x)

    EUR 8 000 for Lithuania;

  11. (xi)

    EUR 5 000 for Malta;

  12. (xii)

    EUR 5 000 for Austria;

  13. (xiii)

    EUR 25 000 for Poland;

  14. (xiv)

    EUR 155 000 for Portugal;

  15. (xv)

    EUR 115 000 for Romania;

  16. (xvi)

    EUR 16 000 for Slovenia;

  17. (xvii)

    EUR 25 000 for Slovakia;

  18. (xviii)

    EUR 5 000 for Finland.
