  "text": "In order to limit the quantities of wastes sent for disposal, BAT is to organise operations on the site so as to facilitate waste reuse, or failing that, waste recycling, or failing that, ‘other recovery’, including the following:\nWaste\nReuse after preparation\nRecycling as\nOther recovery\nHair and Wool\n—\nManufacture of protein hydrolysate\n—\nFertiliser\n—\nEnergy recovery\nRaw trimmings\n—\nHide glue\n—\nEnergy recovery\nLimed trimmings\nTallow\nManufacture of technical gelatine\n—\nHide glue\nFleshings\nManufacture of protein hydrolysate\nTallow\n—\nHide glue\nProduction of substitute fuel\nEnergy recovery\nUntanned splits\nManufacture of technical gelatine\nManufacture of protein hydrolysate\n—\nHide glue\n—\nEnergy recovery\nTanned splits and trimmings\nLeather fibreboard production from non-finished trimmings\nManufacture of protein hydrolysate\n—\nEnergy recovery\nTanned shavings\nLeather fibreboard production\nManufacture of protein hydrolysate\n—\nEnergy recovery\nSludges from waste water treatment\n—\nEnergy recovery",
