Article 1

Article 1 of Decision 2004/3/EC is replaced by the following:

‘Article 1

The Member States listed in column 1 of Annex I are authorised, in respect of the marketing of seed potatoes in the regions listed against their names in column 2 of Annex I, to restrict the marketing of seed potatoes to basic seed potatoes as follows:

1. (a)

   for seed potato production, to any of the following:

   1. (i)

      basic seed potatoes that fulfil the conditions for “Union grade S” set out in point 1(a)(ii)-(v) and point 1(b)(i)-(iv) of Annex I to Commission Implementing Directive 2014/20/EU^f1, or

   2. (ii)

      basic seed potatoes that fulfil the conditions for “Union grade SE” set out in point 2(a)(ii)-(v) and point 2(b)(i)-(iv) of Annex I to Implementing Directive 2014/20/EU;

2. (b)

   for potato production, to any of the following:

   1. (i)

      basic seed potatoes that fulfil the conditions of “Union grade S” set out in point 1(a)(ii)-(v) and point 1(b)(i)-(iv) of Annex I to Implementing Directive 2014/20/EU,

   2. (ii)

      basic seed potatoes that fulfil the conditions for “Union grade SE” set out in point 2(a)(ii)-(v) and point 2(b)(i)-(iv) of Annex I to Implementing Directive 2014/20/EU, or

   3. (iii)

      basic seed potatoes that fulfil the conditions for “Union grade E” set out in point 3(a)(ii)-(v) and point 3(b)(i)-(iv) of Annex I to Implementing Directive 2014/20/EU.’
