# Commission Implementing Decision of 5 May 2014 on setting up Euro-Argo Research Infrastructure as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (Euro-Argo ERIC) (2014/261/EU), Division 1

Any Member of Euro-Argo ERIC may be expelled if it is in material breach of its obligations under the Statutes, or causes or threatens to cause a serious disruption in the operation of Euro-Argo ERIC as determined by the Council. A decision to expel a Member shall be taken by the Council, after the concerned Member has been given an opportunity to respond to the proposed decision and present its position to the Council.
