  "text": "Council Decision\nof 23 July 2014\nappointing two Estonian members and two Estonian alternate members of the Committee of the Regions\n(2014/498/EU)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 305 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the EstonianGovernment,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 22 December 2009 and on 18 January 2010, the Council adopted Decisions 2009/1014/EU and 2010/29/EU appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2010 to 25 January 2015. On 21 May 2013, by Council Decision 2013/239/EU, Mr Mihkel JUHKAMI was appointed as alternate member until 25 January 2015.\n(2)\nTwo members' seats on the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following the end of the terms of office of Mr Väino HALLIKMÄGI and Mr Jüri PIHL.\n(3)\nAn alternate member's seat has become vacant following the end of the term of office of Ms Saima KALEV.\n(4)\nAn alternate member's seat will become vacant following the appointment of Mr Mihkel JUHKAMI as member of the Committee of the Regions,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
