  "text": "Council Decision\nof 30 July 2014\nappointing a Danish member and two Danish alternate members of the Committee of the Regions\n(2014/522/EU)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 305 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the DanishGovernment,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 22 December 2009 and on 18 January 2010, the Council adopted Decisions 2009/1014/EU and 2010/29/EU appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2010 to 25 January 2015. On 3 June 2010, by Council Decision 2010/312/EU, Ms Bente LAURIDSEN was appointed as alternate member until 25 January 2015. On 11 February 2014, by Council Decision 2014/79/EU, Mr Bent HANSEN was appointed as member and Mr Carl HOLST was appointed as alternate member until 25 January 2015.\n(2)\nA member's seat on the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the end of the term of office of Mr Bent HANSEN.\n(3)\nTwo alternate members' seats have become vacant following the end of the terms of office of Mr Carl HOLST and Ms Bente LAURIDSEN.\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
