Article 16 Preparation and adoption of the budget

The Board of Directors with the competent officer of the DARIAH-EU Coordination Office (DCO) shall prepare a draft budget for the next budgetary period, which shall be presented to the General Assembly in the first quarter of the preceding fiscal year.

The draft budget shall include all appropriations and a calculation of the Member and Observer contributions for the next budgetary period and a projection of costs and contributions for the following two budgetary periods.

If the budget is not adopted for the beginning of the fiscal year the total appropriations which may be entered monthly in DARIAH ERIC should be subject to the limitations of the previous budgetary year.
