Article 5 Admission of Members, Observers and Cooperating Partners

Any State or intergovernmental organisation interested in becoming a Member, Observer, or any institution interested in becoming a Cooperating Partner, shall apply in writing to DARIAH ERIC.

Members and Observers must include in the application the name of the National Coordinating Institution who shall coordinate national DARIAH activities.

The Board of Directors shall forward the application to the General Assembly, with a recommendation for the acceptance or not of the applicant.

The General Assembly shall decide on the acceptance of the new Member, Observer or Cooperating Partner.

DARIAH ERIC and the Cooperating Partner shall enter into a binding agreement, defining the framework of the cooperation, based on the recommendations of the General Assembly, for a period of at least two years, at the end of which the cooperation shall be evaluated.
