# Decision No 555/2014/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the participation of the Union in a European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR) jointly undertaken by several Member States (Text with EEA relevance), Division 2: EMPIR may support further actions for the dissemination and exploitation of results of metrology research.

EMPIR may support other actions specifically addressing metrology institutes which have no or limited scientific capabilities, by supporting them in using other European Union, national or regional programmes for training and mobility, cross-border cooperation or investment in metrology infrastructure.
